5 months go by

It has been 5 months since the last post. Nobody is communicating with each other any more? For active investigators, what's the buz around D.O.P.? I have heard some rumors about policy against discussing any and all past or current department business. Is this why no new posts? You guys no longer have first amnedment rights?
Any new stuff up with my fellow retirees?
My mom passed away in June at 92. I saw Capt Digiore at a FBINA meeting in July and he told me his father passed away in June too. I sent a message to the command center and to Dist 1 about my Mom. A bunch of retirees came to the wake including Tom Henderson, Dave Alcala, Mike Hogan and Jimmy Taylor. Dist 1 was represented by Jim Murphy, Gerry Woods, Carolyn Miller, and Terry Novack. The Dist. also sent a escort for the funeral procession. DiGiore said he sent a message to PIU about his father, but I never heard . Usually, somebody at the Dist. calls Hogan and he gives me a call when their is Dist. 1 or dept. news. I wished I could have expressed my condolences to Capt. DiGiore sooner. Loosing a parent, no matter at what age, is a difficult time.

I am also writing a book and I am about 75% done. I have a publisher lined -up too. I may be calling some of you to ask you about antidotes related to my book's topic. I hope you will have some interesting stories and can talk . ( 1st amendment rights and all)
