I was assigned to the IG from 1987 to 1995. Shortly after George"Mr. MaGoo" Ryan took office in 1991, you could see that it was more than just politics as usual. There was an arrogant greed growing I was outspoken against what was developing then. I was criticized and even ridiculed with people calling it sour grapes and calling me a disgruntled employee. Dean Bauer and Ryan both engaged in obvious obstructions of justice. I was told then nothing will ever be done, Ryan is too powerful. then in 1995, the ultimate obstruction occurred, he dissolved the IG in an attempt to stop the investigations of employees accepting bribes that were ending up in his campaign war chest. I was told then that Ryan will never be touched. Then in 2001 Dean Bauer plead guilty and went off to prison , and he would not testify against Ryan, his buddy. Then Fawell went too, and he refused to give up his sugar daddy. I was told Ryan will not get indicted. Then I was told he will not be found guilty. Well, guess what, he WILL go to the federal penitentiary.
